Say It!
Whatever we have dared to think That dared we also say.
—James Russell Lowell
People have lived and died because of words. One of the first things dictators do when they come to power is silence the writers, because great writers tell the truth. Poets especially have always had a reputation for seeing things other people can’t or don’t want to see. The first rule of writing, or of any art, is: Say it! Say it with your own words. Remember that you are the only person who can see things from your angle. Share your vision!
